Job Summary:
As our Full-Time Finance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our financial future. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial operations, providing strategic insights, and ensuring compliance. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in finance. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and managing budgeting and forecasting processes. You will monitor cash flow, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and coordinate annual audits with external auditors. Additionally, you will provide financial insights and recommendations to guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Financial Policies and Procedures:
  • Create a framework for financial operations that aligns with the company’s goals.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.
  • Implement internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and non-compliance.
  • Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in accounting standards, regulations, or business
    operations.

Prepare and Analyze Financial Statements and Reports:

  • Create accurate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to support business strategies.

Manage Budgeting and Forecasting Processes:

  • Develop annual and monthly budgets that align with strategic goals.
  • Monitor actual expenses against budgeted amounts and identify variances.
  • Forecast future revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Adjust budgets based on changes in business conditions or performance.

Monitor Cash Flow and Financial Performance:

  • Track cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient cash flow.
  • Identify trends and potential liquidity issues.
  • Manage working capital to optimize cash flow.
  • Report on financial performance to management and stakeholders.

Ensure Compliance with Accounting Standards and Regulations:

  • Stay informed about the latest accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to standards and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance.
  • Address non-compliance issues promptly.

Coordinate with External Auditors for Annual Audits:

  • Prepare for audits by gathering necessary documentation.
  • Address audit findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure the audit process is conducted professionally.
  • Maintain documentation of the audit process.

Provide Financial Insights and Recommendations to Support Business Decisions:

  • Offer financial advice and recommendations to management.
  • Analyze investment opportunities and potential costs.
  • Identify cost-saving measures.
  • Support strategic planning with financial analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.

Hours:
40 hours per week
