Leadership – Farooq Naiyer

Farooq  Naiyer is Practice Leader for Risk, Assurance, and Compliance at Arancia, where he leads Risk advisory, business continuity regulatory compliance, and IT assurance services. In this role, Farooq focuses on delivering actionable risk mitigation strategies, strengthening client security postures, and ensuring seamless compliance across evolving regulatory landscapes, building upon his strategic foundation as Arancia’s Chief Strategy Officer since early 2024.

With more than 20 years of experience across cybersecurity strategy, IT assurance, regulatory compliance, and privacy, Farooq has built and led high-performing security functions, enterprise programs, and advisory practices across financial services, post-secondary education, retail, reinsurance, and global consulting sectors. His experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ORION, Global Lead for Technology & Cyber Assurance at Munich Re, Senior Manager at PwC, IT Audit leader at FCL, and leadership roles at leading provincial crown corporations. His work has also received recognition including the EC-Council Presidential Award and the CSO Compass Award by IDG.
